There are only two requirements to becoming a member of the Young Democrats of Arkansas. You must be 35 or under, and you must be a Democrat.
What Does Membership Mean?
If you're familiar with the Young Democrats, you know that we're composed of local organizations (clubs) throughout the state. These clubs hold regular meetings, talk about the important issues, and get involved in the community. However, regardless of whether or not you join a local organization, please consider joining YDAR (the state organization). We're the umbrella for all YDs throughout the state, and membership in YDAR comes with a number of benefits.
Membership Benefits
· Exclusive membership-only events, like a group outing to a Razorbacks game, a political bowling tournament with political staff and elected officials, holidays parties, and much more.

· Opportunities to meet and engage in a dialog with elected officials across the state.

· Up-to-date information about candidates that support our views and opportunities to work and volunteer with exciting state and local campaigns.
· Opportunities to gain valuable campaign and political experience in many different areas, including media strategy, technology, fundraising, field, and grass-roots work.
· Access to great seminars and workshops about campaign work and important issues.
· An opportunity to get involved in a dynamic organization of young professionals and students committed to involving youth in politics.

We are continually looking for ways to provide our members with more benefits, and this list is always growing! |
